Career - EU citizens
From 1 January 1992, citizens of any country in the European Union or European Economic Area are permitted to work in any Member State. As lons as they have paid employment, they are subject to the same legislation and benefit from the same advantages as national workers. Any EU citizen can take advantage of public employment services.
European Union citizens are therefore entitled to the equal access to employment and subsequent equal treatment. They can apply for a job at any company in the territory of any Member State. Candidates from two different EU countries can not be exposed to different requirements and the selection process, they must be guaranteed the same conditions.
